This locking pawl and flanged nut is used on the right side axle bearing adjusters of 8 3/4" and 9 3/4" differentials.   The pawl secures the axle end play adjusting nut once proper bearing play is established.  You don't want to be without this part on your car!  Reference Chrysler part number 2467 166.

Used in 8 3/4" differentials with clutch type Sure-Grip from 1965-69.  Required to provide axle thrust surface in four-spider differential applications.  Exact replicas of original parts.  Heat treated for long life and includes correct installation rivet.  Reference Chrysler part number 1829 445.

* NOTE:  Can be used in 1964 and prior applications by removing .250" from rivet and spacer length.
